The information that Bugatti has begun creation of the new car, proves to be true. According to the western mass-media, in September of this year on a motor show in Frankfurt Bugatti will present concept models under name Royale. This car becomes, probably, the ideological successor of model Type 41 Royale which nowadays is considered in France national property.
In total during the period from 1930 to 1933 it has been made only such six cars (though Ettori of Bugatti prepared to construct an order of 25 cars). Actually release Type 41 Royale hardly has not ruined the company. Cars cost the expensive. And consequently after it has been made six cars, the project has been stopped. And the 8-cylinder engines which have accumulated in warehouses in volume of Bugatti of 12.7 l used for installation on … railway section cars.
